YOUR FIRST LESSONS ~ HOW DO WE BEGIN?

One of the purposes of the free Introductory Lesson is to determine the best starting point for your future lessons regardless of whether you've just picked up a guitar for the first time, or have been playing one for years. Anyone that hasn't played a guitar before, or hasn't played in a very long time, is probably a Beginner.

Having said that, it's important to remember that it's your own guitar-playing goals, not your current study level, that matter the most. If those goals are not already clear in your mind, I'd be pleased to help you evaluate different objectives, approaches and playing Styles that will ultimately provide you with a rewarding experience and (hopefully) a life-long passion.

In virtually all cases (unless you prefer otherwise), I do not teach from a single "How to Play Guitar" book. Every one of my students is unique, which is why I individually tailor the selection of study materials from the extensive reference library that I maintain in my studio.
