ENHANCE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF JAZZ

A couple times each summer I write and direct an on-stage musical presentation called How To Jazz. As a full-time Music Educator and passionate Jazz Enthusiast, I'm always drawn to major Jazz Festivals. Not only do these events provide me with an opportunity to listen to great music, but they also give me a chance to share my knowledge of Jazz in an entertaining and inspirational way — often with the support of featured Jazz artists.

The complexities of the Jazz idiom are often challenging — particularly for those that are new to the genre. For this reason, How To Jazz presentations are designed to enhance the experience of festival-goers by expanding their understanding and appreciation of Jazz. These presentations are complimentary and open to all festival ticket holders. Dates and locations for upcoming How To Jazz presentations are included in seasonal Newsletters.
