PLAYING THE GUITAR — AT ANY AGE
If you used to play the guitar in your youth, here's an opportunity to re-discover something valuable that may have been lost, or at least temporarily misplaced, during the years spent raising a family, building a career, or living in retirement. On the other hand, if you've never played the guitar — or any musical instrument, for that matter — here's a chance to start a new adventure.
Every week, except for a brief interlude during the middle of the year, I teach the Guitarist For Life program (on a private online-basis) to adults who live in various countries around the world. The program runs over a period of 12 consecutive weeks, and can be repeated as often as you like.
Here's something to consider ... exercising our brain as well as our body is critical to keeping us active and healthy, especially later in life. Learning (or in some cases, re-learning) to play a musical instrument can go a long way to keeping us mentally fit in a very natural, rewarding, and therapeutic way.
