BOOSTING YOUR SKILLS ... AND MORE
One of the purposes of the free Introductory Lesson is to determine the best starting point for your future lessons regardless of whether you've just picked up a guitar for the first time, or have been playing one for years. If the latter scenario is more reflective of your accomplishments than the former, then an Intermediate level of studies is probably right for you.
Having said that, it's important to remember that it's your own guitar-playing goals, not your current study level, that matter the most. If those goals are not already clear in your mind, I'd be pleased to help you evaluate different objectives and various approaches for upgrading (among other things) your creative interpretation, playing techniques, cross-genre integration, repertoire, recordings, and live performance skills.
In virtually all cases (unless you prefer otherwise), I do not teach from a single "How to Play Guitar" book. Every one of my students is unique, which is why I individually tailor the selection of study materials from the extensive reference library that I maintain in my studio. Interested?
